James D. Hammerstedt Jr., CEPA®, MS, MBA

James D. Hammerstedt Jr. began working with FHHP in the fall of 2021 as the Firm’s Talent & Development Director. In 2025, James was promoted to the Director of Operations. Before joining the Firm, James gained his human resource experience working in corporate HR for a multinational venue management company and a leadership development consulting company. In his role, James manages the performance management of FHHP personnel, the Firm’s business development efforts, and the talent acquisition process of FHHP and its affiliated entities. 

James attended Saint Joseph’s University, while attending SJU, James was a Division I rower for the SJU Men’s Rowing team, where he competed in the 2017 & 2018 IRA National Regatta.  James now resides in South Jersey, with his wife and son. In his free time, enjoys rowing in the back bay of Ventnor, fishing, and spending time with his family.
