James D. Hammerstedt, CPA

James D. Hammerstedt began his career in public accounting in 1988 in Boston, Massachusetts. Jim received his Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting from Merrimack College in 1990. He joined FHHP in 1991 and became a partner 2001. Jim was named Managing Partner in 2012.

Jim’s major focus is in the areas of commercial construction, professional service organizations, real estate development, agriculture and related services, hospitality and logistic operations. He has assisted many clients in mortgage and business restructuring, tax minimization strategies, mergers and acquisitions, strategic joint ventures, and complex banking transactions.

Jim’s professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jim resides in South Jersey where he spends free time enjoying outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
